[9-HI™ Dictionary] Selection Projects

Either an RFI, a Simple RFI, RWP, RFP, or Pitch Event that is used to solicit, identify, and down select one or more Product Technologies for potential use in a Development Project or some other purpose. If this selection process is focused on options from sources external to your Group, then essentially this is a licensing or procurement activity. If the selection is from options that are internal to your Group, all the same processes are used, except that the IP, confidentiality, and other rules from your Group govern all of these activities from internal sources. This is an internal organic selection effort to identify, select, and use Technologies and Solutions from within your own organization.
